A new Creative Supervision Group for Nature-based Therapists and Counsellors
This new supervision group is open to counsellors and therapists who are embarking on, or who are already working outdoors in a natural environment with their clients.
The group, which itself will be based outdoors, will offer creative approaches to supervision to support reflection on areas such as clinical case work, therapy in the natural environment, protocol, nature relatedness and other therapy associated business.
With four spaces available, the group will meet outdoors once a month for two-and-a-half-hour sessions in Shining Cliff Woods, near Ambergate, Derbyshire. There are fire-pits which can be used in colder weather and options of shelter in wet weather. Corona Virus guidelines, such as physical distancing, will be adhered to for as long as they continue to apply.
The supervision group will start when all four spaces are filled. It’s anticipated that the group will commence in the Autumn on a Monday morning. Commitment for a minimum of 6 months is expected, with a roll on, roll off option at the sixth month.
The fee is £70 per person for the 2.5 hrs
I have always held a deep passion for the natural environment as well as a keen interest in our experience of our nature relatedness (our internalised identification with nature). At this critical time of environmental crisis and global pandemic causing mass human disturbance, it seems to me that as counsellors and therapists we have an opportunity to play a valuable role in fostering nature relatedness in our clients – surely a most vital relationship to facilitate, heal and nurture.
If you are interested in being a part of this group, and wish to reserve your place, please make contact with Natasha. You will be invited to a brief online meeting and an advance payment of a half fee of the first session will book your place.
